Airlie Beach - Gateway to Whitsunday Islands

Whitsunday***** is a place we will never forget. A beautiful make up of 74 islands formed the Whitsunday region. We stayed at Airlie Beach, which is a small beautiful town that provides access to one of the most beautiful nature formation, the Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef. There are so many tour boats out to the reef for snorkelling which also stops at Whitehaven Beach. But from Whitehaven Beach, it is not possible to walk to the Hill Inlet, where the sand swirl so beautifully like a painting during low tide.

So the first day we arrive at Airlie Beach, we were just walking around and shopping for the best tour to see the Whitsunday.

That is Airlie Beach, nothing special, all the wonderful beaches and islands are out at the sea.
