Doubtful Sound Day 2, back to Queenstown

Twilight ~~ Before the sun greets us~~
We had a good sleep in the cabin, the boat is not shaky at all, and luckily none of us snores... =D

Brekkie time~~~ Not so much food this morning after what we had yesterday night! Although breakfast is buffet style too.. Haha...

Good Morning crested penguins! Yay, we manage to get closer to these guys this morning and got better pictures!

Thanks for watching us! *penguins bowing*

Please take care of yourselves little crested penguins, we want to see more of you guys in NZ!!

Beautiful sun rays shining through!

The water in this fiord seems black as always....

The morning cruise is rather more peaceful, as we get used to this fiord, the silent-ness of this place and at some point, the captain switch off the engine, all of us remain silent with not a single 'chik chak' from the camera... So serene and peaceful... with the birds chirping and sound of the wind.. Blessed!

Enjoying another wonder of nature, collecting fresh water!!! Dare to drink this yellowish water?? Haha why not?! It's absolutely clean, after the water being filtered by the natural green moss and rocks on these cliff!

The work of this tiny green moses that build the foundation for all living trees around this fiord~~

So fast, the overnight cruise has ended and we are back on the small boat on Lake Manapouri again!

Ooh where did my cap go??? *My cap being blown off the boat =.= Please choose a good tight cap for travels in NZ! So WINDY~

Last view of this beautiful Lake Manapouri~~ Really a cruise not to be missed!!! Full enjoyment in the magnificent views, sea life, kayaking, and yummy NZ food~~ This might be the most expensive tours in NZ for us and its certainly worth the dollars!

On our drive back to Queenstown.. We had to part ways with Tony and Stephanie, as they tried to hitch hike from the jetty back to Queenstown, hopefully some kind people will fetch them soon! If only our van can sit two more people!!!

Finally we get to see Queenstown! It had been an exciting travel from Auckland to the West Coast of South Island to see the glaciers and then Doubtful Sound. And we plan to now find a 1-2 months temporary job in Queenstown to sustain our expenses for the rest of our trip. Hopefully we find something in this beautiful town!

Strolling the pretty Queenstown wharf, thinking our next steps in securing a job!

The most famous burger in NZ, Ferg Burger***** Their burger is really good, the size of my face because we ordered the Big Al (which is 'the lot' for $17.50 (see below). Good for sharing seriously, we are quite full after this half.

Oooh, Angie needs some serious diet!

That night we stayed at Qbox motorhome park for $30. It's a nice, new place but haven't got enough toilet and laundry facilities.
