Below Zero Ice Bar & Queenstown Hill

A square box smiley face

A morning with rain and smokey steam wagon parade @ Queenstown!

Frustrated with the job hunting, we relaxed ourselves for one day in Queenstown. First we paid a visit to the famed Ice Bar, where we managed to buy the entrance tickets for NZD1 through bookme.co.nz! Normal price is $10. It was a good eye opener as we have never visited such bar.

It is just a small bar, which is good just for a quick stroll and pictures...  Not a place where we can sit for more than half an hour drinking and get frozen :D

Ice glasses... If you need extra ice in your drink, just bite this glass! LOL
The practice in here after finishing your drink, is to break the glass..

Next, we went for a walk at Queenstown Hill. It is a 3 hour return walk, uphill climb to 500 metres. It was quite exhaustive, as the steps are quite steep as we go uphill. But totally worth it. And we even saw snow dropping as we almost reach the top! Fabulous feeling, even though it was end of spring, we still manage to see snow drops :)

Quail bird... with a cute 'head dress'  hehe

Lovely view of Queenstown and we can see the Queenstown gondola from here.. Super cold up here...
