Stewart Island - 3 Day Rakiura Track Day 3

Good Morning, Rakiura~~ Our third day, and the very last part of the Stewart Island 3 day track!

With Sama, our hut mate..

Rather relaxing walk today as our pack got lighter after finishing the two days supplies..
\
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Our first multi day hike! It was a very nice experience, although we weren't able to see any wild kiwi, we did not have enough good luck to see one. As we explore the tracks around the huts at night, trying to spot one, we did saw some holes in the ground. But the kiwi birds are so shy that they will run away whenever they hear anything..

Blue Cod fish and chips as reward to ourselves.. YAHoo they are yummy, bought them at South Sea Hotel... With enough energy replenish we went walking around the island again, using our feet to the max to enjoy the last of this most Southern Island before our last ferry back..

Should be a Great Albatross..
A great surprise on the ferry back to Bluff, we saw an Albatross flying over the vast sea.. Manage to capture this using zoom lense in time =) They have the largest wingspan of any extant birds of up to 3.7 metres!
