Nydia Saddle, Tennyson Inlet

The milking cows walking peacefully to get milked...

At Marlborough Sound, we decided to take the Nydia Saddle track. A 4 hours return walk from Duncan Bay.

Nydia Bay view...

The track is fairly easy but really in need of good sign boards! The Nydia track is a 10hours track (from Kauima Bay to Duncan Bay) and we took the Nydia Saddle track which is part of the Nydia track. But the signage does not indicate positions and directions for Nydia Saddle track. And lookout points does not have a signage. Well, at least we think they are lookout points as seen above =)

Cullen point lookout. The road from Havelock to Picton is really beautiful with views of the sound..

We stayed the night at Aussie Bay DOC camp, $6 pp and tomorrow morning we shall board the ferry back to North Island!
