Kununurra: Mirima NP or Mini Bungle Bungle

Mini Bungle Bungle

So since we decided not to go Bungle Bungle, (we might go to Darwin next time and hire a 4wd then do the Bungle Bungle, Kakadu and etc etc that requires 4wd.) we went to the MINI Bungle Bungle instead! The Mirima National Park**** is located just behind our caravan park (Hidden Valley Caravan Park, which is home to many Japanese working backpackers, apparently there are farms around here), an easy 2 hr walk to view everything! And doesn't cost a single cent :p

Here's the "bee hives"

So then we left Kununurra and drove 4hrs to Halls Creek. That night we decided to camp at a free rest area 100km further west of Halls Creek. But after 20km on the road from Halls Creek,we got another FLAT tyre! OMG... 2 flat tyres in 2 days. So this time, it was the spare tyre that has broken terribly. We had to replace that with the fixed one. Two bush man stopped by and offered help. They said they would have help us fix the tyre but since it was completely burst... One of the guy said that tyre is quite old, so after driving for long hours it gave up. They advise us to go back to Halls Creek and buy a spare tyre cause if you're driving on this road without a spare you would be mad. And so we did head back to Halls Creek and next morning bought a $110 tyre.

Fingers crossed! No more problems after this please :)

After fitting the spare tyre in our bonnett, we make our way to Broome. About 8 hrs from Halls Creek. We stayed in a free rest area tonight about 120km before Broome.
